Earth Milk Moon supports families through the early postpartum period, also known as the fourth trimester, as well as 4 - 18 months postpartum. Having support from people you feel safe and comfortable with is foundational to postpartum healing. With the birth of a baby a mother is born, a father/partner is born, grandparents are born, aunties and uncles are born. This is true whether it is the first baby, or whether it is the 10th baby within a family being born. Postpartum Wellness Support Packages are most supportive to families the first three months after the baby is born. Most of the hours are used in the first 3-4 weeks as you adjust to mothering, feeding and resting as much as possible. The fourth trimester is a really beautiful opportunity to pause in order to adapt to your new family constellation and integrate your birth experience.

With this offering, you will receive weekly guidance calls throughout your pregnancy to make sure you are feeling empowered, informed, nourished and resourced along your pregnancy journey.

This level of support gives you access to a registered nurse and holistic healthcare professional so you can:

ask questions

share your fears & concerns

clear up confusion that may arise during pregnancy

receive guidance and information on birth options and birth decisions

receive resources and guidance regarding pregnancy nutrition

receive the support, resources, and information you need to feel empowered as you prepare for birth and parenthood

When you become pregnant you are faced many new, important decisions, and sometimes frustration, as you navigate your pregnancy and birth options. This is an opportunity to talk to a holistic health care professional who works in the birth world and has helped many families along their pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey.

There are hardships that come with trying to get a hold of doctors, wondering what's normal and, at times, feeling like your needs are unmet. I will help guide you through your options when it comes to birthing in and out of the hospital, birth medications and interventions, pregnancy nutrition and help you connect to your intuition so you can feel empowered in your pregnancy and birth decisions.

Many times, doctors will not see you in person until you are 8-14 weeks pregnant. Those early weeks are very important weeks for both you and baby and can feel lonely and confusing. You can begin utilizing this offering as early as you need and continue into the postpartum time.

Our time together is a safe space for you to be heard, resourced and empowered as you prepare for birth and parenthood. We will make sure you are informed of resources and classes in the area you live and your birth options. We will share a list of books, video resources and resources that I highly recommend before giving birth.

This offering includes four calls per month throughout pregnancy, starting as early in your pregnancy as you like. The Pregnancy On-Call Support Package is a recurring monthly subscription.

Postpartum Mentorship Call

This is an opportunity to ask questions one on one with Krista. Maybe you are an RN who is being called to supporting families in a different way. Maybe you're a health care professional switching careers, just wanting to learn more or talk through where to begin your lactation or postpartum path. I'm here for you and happy to help guide you!

Krista is a postpartum nurse and doula, IBCLC (lactation consultant), folk herbalist and postpartum wellness provider. She cares for families from pregnancy through postpartum from the perspective of traditional midwifery and weaves in her education and experience working in the hospital, with traditional wisdom, the modern sciences of Epigenetics, Pre and Perinatal Psychology, Woman-Centered Physiology and Anatomy. Working with families in the un-rushed environments of their homes or connecting virtually on a regular basis is what she has found to be the most helpful and healing for families. Krista loves nourishing mothers with medicinal foods, holding space for families to rest and bond, guiding women back to their intuition and teaching families how to prepare for a soft landing into parenthood. Whether it is helping a baby learn to breastfeed after being in the NICU, cooking a big pot of medicinal bone broth for a healing mother, advocating for skin to skin in the operating room or holding space to listen to the most beautiful or traumatic birth story, Krista is honored to support you.
